Mike The Mic Party Services is always looking for passionate people who want to become karaoke hosts. No experience needed — we provide the full training course, the gear knowledge, and the stage time. New shows are created often and reserve hosts are always in demand.
What you get

4+ years running karaoke across Oklahoma City. You'll be joining a team with real venues, real gear, and a real reputation.
Learn everything from song library management and crowd reading to mic technique, rotation handling, and sound setup. We cover it all.
Shadow experienced hosts, then run your own shows. New nights are created regularly and we always need reliable reserve hosts.
Learn the equipment side — speakers, mixers, mics, and karaoke software. You'll know how to set up and troubleshoot a full rig.
Once trained, you get paid for every show you host. Reserve hosts pick up extra nights when regulars need coverage — steady side income.
We already have relationships with venues across OKC. You won't need to cold-call bars — we place you where shows are happening.

Who we're looking for
You don't need experience. You need energy, reliability, and a genuine love for karaoke. If you've ever thought “I could do this” while watching a KJ run a room — this is your shot.

No. Mike The Mic Party Services provides the gear for shows. During training you'll learn how it all works, but you don't need to buy anything.
Nothing. Training is free. We invest in you because we need great hosts — there's no fee.
Pay varies by venue and night, but hosts typically earn $75–$150+ per show. The more shows you take on, the more you earn.
Karaoke runs every night of the week, but the busiest nights are Thursday through Saturday. We'll match you to nights that fit your schedule.
It depends on your starting point, but most people are ready to shadow within a couple of weeks and running their own shows within a month.
Even better. If you already know the ropes, training will be shorter and we can get you on stage faster. We still want to make sure you're a fit for the team.
Absolutely. Most of our hosts have day jobs. One night a week is a great starting point.
A reserve host is trained and ready to step in when a regular host can't make their night. It's a great way to get started and build experience without committing to a permanent weekly slot.
